On Friday, 26 January 2024, Worcester, faced a challenging day as fires broke out around the area. The Rotary Club, Wimpy Mountain Mill Mall and Worcester Lions rallied support for the firefighting efforts at Fairy Glen and Brandwacht area, where the fires wreaked havoc. In an inspiring display of community spirit, these organizations came together to assist the brave firefighters battling the flames. Armed with water, Bar Ones, and Energade, these dedicated individuals set out to provide much-needed support to the firefighters.
Water – A Lifeline in the Battle Against Flames:
One of the primary challenges faced by firefighters during such emergencies is the scarcity of water. These efforts played a vital role in keeping the firefighters hydrated and equipped to tackle the raging fires effectively.
