The smell of chicken sizzling on the braai, the sound of laughter echoing through Huis Brevis — this is what community looks like.
The Rotary Club of Worcester recently had the privilege of hosting another chicken braai at Huis Brevis, continuing a cherished initiative dedicated to serving seniors with disabilities in our community.
These gatherings are about far more than a shared meal. They create space for connection, conversation, and the simple joy of spending time together. The afternoon was filled with warmth, laughter, and a genuine sense of fellowship between residents, Rotarians, and volunteers.
The event was warmly and enthusiastically received, with appreciation evident in every smile shared. And, as always, the braai itself did not disappoint — the chicken was truly outstanding and enjoyed by all.
Projects like these reflect the heart of Rotary: service rooted in compassion, and a commitment to uplifting those around us in meaningful and practical ways.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success. It is through continued support and collaboration that we are able to keep making a difference in Worcester.
