In the wake of the recent devastating storm that swept through Worcester and surrounding areas, the damage left behind was a stark reminder of how vulnerable our communities can be. Yet, in true Rotary spirit, it also revealed something far more powerful — our ability to come together and rebuild.
The Rotary Club of Worcester is proud to have been part of the restoration of ablution facilities at Goudini Rugby Club, a project made possible through a District Flood Relief Grant secured through the tremendous efforts of our Past President, Juanita Wilkinson.
This initiative was about far more than infrastructure. It was about restoring dignity, creating safe and hygienic spaces, and reigniting a sense of pride within a community hub that plays such an important role in bringing people together — especially the youth.
Through collaboration with dedicated partners, what once felt like an overwhelming challenge became a story of resilience and hope. Together, we were able to move mountains.
At Rotary, we don’t just respond to need — we show up, we stand together, and we act.
Because when communities are tested, Rotary rises.
