On Saturday, 31 May, the spirit of Rotary came alive in Rawsonville as members of our club hosted a joyful braai at Huis Lafras Moolman.
With wood, chicken, rolls, and fresh salads in hand, our Rotarians arrived ready to serve—not just food, but fellowship. We fired up the braai, played some feel-good music, and spent quality time chatting with the wonderful residents.
The day was filled with laughter, delicious food, and warm conversation. But what made it truly special was discovering that one of the residents, Mr. Piet Winterbach, is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Worcester. What an honor it was to connect with a fellow Rotarian and hear stories of service from years past.
Events like these remind us why we do what we do. It’s about community, care, and creating moments that matter.
Thank you to everyone who made this day possible—and to the residents of Huis Lafras Moolman for welcoming us so warmly.
