Laser Focused & Full of Fun!

Social

On 17 October, the Rotary Club of Worcester came together for an afternoon of team-building, laughter, and friendly competition, enjoying laser tag and corn bag throwing at Ultimate Laser Tactical, hosted by Rudolf Roux.

Laser tag had members strategizing, communicating, and navigating the arena with precision as they aimed to tag opponents with their laser guns. It’s a fast-paced, high-energy game that challenges participants to think quickly, work as a team, and make split-second decisions — all while having a blast! Members were seen dodging behind obstacles, coordinating attacks, and celebrating victories, all of which strengthened teamwork and highlighted the importance of collaboration both in and out of the Rotary context.

Meanwhile, corn bag throwing, also known as cornhole, brought a different kind of fun. This classic game challenged members’ aim, patience, and friendly competitiveness. Every toss onto the board or into the hole brought cheers, laughter, and playful banter, proving that even simple games can foster connection, engagement, and a sense of friendly rivalry.

Days like this remind us that Rotary is more than just service projects. It’s about building relationships, fostering camaraderie, and celebrating the joy of working together as a team. Team-building events like these allow our members to bond, recharge, and strengthen the friendships that make our club such a vibrant and supportive community.

A heartfelt thank you to Rudolf Roux and Ultimate Laser Tactical for hosting an unforgettable afternoon that combined strategy, skill, laughter, and fun.

Here’s to more opportunities to connect, grow, and play together!
