6 February | Tuskers, Fairy Glen Game Reserve
The heat was on in more ways than one at our annual Rotary Club of Worcester Potjiekos Competition, held on 6 February at the beautiful Fairy Glen Game Reserve.
With only two teams competing this year, the atmosphere was intimate but the rivalry? Fierce and fabulous.
Themed creativity took centre stage as:
- The Mad Hatters Tea Party brought whimsical flair and bold flavours
- Valentine’s Day served up romance with every stir of the pot
Despite the soaring summer temperatures, our chefs kept their cool, thanks in part to refreshing dips in the swimming pool between rounds of careful seasoning and spirited banter.
The judges had an exceptionally tough task, carefully tasting and deliberating over two outstanding pots. In the end, The Mad Hatters Tea Party claimed the trophy and, of course, the all-important bragging rights for 2026!
The evening was filled with laughter, teamwork, good-natured competition, and the unmistakable camaraderie that defines our Rotary family.
Another unforgettable event celebrating fellowship, fun, and friendship.
