The Rotary Club of Worcester continues to place youth development at the heart of its service, with another meaningful initiative supporting learners at Merwida Primary School.
Through this project, school uniforms were provided to 11 children, along with a donation of books from the Rotary Club of Worcester’s collection—meeting both practical and educational needs in a powerful, holistic way.
Education is about more than classrooms and curricula. It begins with dignity, confidence, and access. A child who arrives at school in a proper uniform carries a sense of pride in their appearance, a quiet confidence that allows them to stand tall among their peers.
At the same time, access to books opens doors far beyond the classroom. Literacy remains one of the most critical challenges facing our communities, and every book placed in a child’s hands is a step toward opportunity, understanding, and a brighter future.
This initiative reflects Rotary Worcester’s ongoing commitment—not only to youth, but to the broader community we serve. From education to wellbeing, from dignity to development, our work continues to uplift and empower.
- Because when we invest in children, we invest in the future.
- And when we serve our community, we build something that lasts.
